December

Clearly, I'm out of order and way behind on these posts. But, it's actually December and this post is about December! I'm not behind on this one! Haha.

So far, it's been a busy month. It's already the 20th and it's hard to believe Christmas is almost here! All the shopping is done and presents are wrapped and ready. We took Deacon to meet Santa yesterday. He knows about Santa and was really excited to meet him and tell him what he really wanted for Christmas. So, we wait in a short line with other little kids his age. They all run up to Santa and sit in his lap and smile and smile. Deacon walks up, asks Santa for a high-five, and sits in his lap. No smile. None. He looked so funny (nervous?)! It was SO funny. If my scanner and I ever get along, I'll put it up here. When Santa asked him what he wanted, he did manage to whisper "a choo-choo and presents". Haha! It was cute.

Tonight we got some hot chocolate and went to look at Christmas lights. We saw a few, but he really liked the train in downtown Eustis. They put lights all over it and the boy LOVES trains! He also really liked his hot chocolate. He said, "Oooh, chochey is hot Momma!" He's really excited about Christmas and everything "Christmas"is "Chrismuffs stuffs". So silly! I'm excited to see him open all his gifts from Santa! Santa spent lots of time shopping with grouchy people. Haha.

Hmm...we had "Christmas lunch" with Jon's grandparents today. Deacon loved playing with the toys at their house and he really liked opening his presents and giving them theirs to open. He really liked the goodies his Granny made him! Oh, and Pappy lets him eat all the junk he wants(which is why he was awake until 10:30pm).

Ok, well I'm sure there will be more updates for December, because Christmas is next weekend! Yay! I'll get to work and get some pictures on here!

I really love the "hurry up and take the stupid picture" impatient hand.

October

So, it's December and I'm writing this for October. I don't even remember what happened in October. Oh! Deacon turned two! He had a super small party with his Nana, Papa, Aunt Alicia, and cousins. He got a Cars bicycle and had a Cars cake.

He had lots of fun on Halloween. He was a monkey, which was really cute. Too bad it was 95 degrees out and his costume was fleece. Oh well! He got lots of candy!

Hmm...not much else really happened in October. I'll put some birthday and Halloween pictures up soon!

This is so out of order!

November

We all ate a ton on Thanksgiving, then drove up to north Florida. Deacon had a super good time riding the 4-wheeler and fishing. We got crazy and went Black Friday shopping at a Walmart in Alabama. Haha. I'm not sure if we'll do that again, but we got some really good stuff on sale. We just moved last week, so we've been busy putting things away and trying to get organized. Deacon loves all the room!

Deacon's really excited about Christmas (I think) and knows Santa (he calls him Claus) is bringing him presents. He really likes the baby Jesus from a little nativity scene and calls him "Bobby Meejus". Haha. He talks in sentences now and repeats almost everything. He has a few funny things he says (everything is "crap") and he's still strange. Haha. He's been a little wired this week, because he's having chocolate milk withdraws. Seems someone was addicted. He's doing good though. Down to only two cups a day. Haha.

Pictures will be up soon(ish).

Labor Day Weekend.

Labor Day weekend was nice. Labor Day was my birthday! My first 29th. I think I'll have four. I had a manicure and pedicure (not for my birthday, but for the wedding). Never had a pedicure before, but it was nice. I just hate people touching my feet. Deacon sat on my lap the entire time. He just said, "ew" and feet" over and over. I gave him a pedicure when we got home (just put some lotion on his feet).

We took Deacon out to play in the pool and here are some pictures! He likes to drink the pool water (ew) and jump off the top stair.

This is his silly smile.

Talking about fish.

Fishing with a shovel.

I'm not really sure what this is about.

Action shot.

He didn't realize this was cold water. Haha.

Silly giggle face.

Another action shot!

More fishing.

Head rush?

Super cute!

Splish splash.

Cute, cute, cute.

August

Deacon is really talking now. Here are a few of my favorites things he's said recently.

"Weeyaa my food at?"
"Mommy yook, yook at da tickeys."
"Me hungee."
"Weeyaa bank at?"
"Yook at da yittle bobbies."

Another cute one. I was checking my Facebook and there was a picture of my friend Kathy and her daughter Mady (one of Deacon's little friends). He pointed and said, "Yook Mommy. Eee Mayee an Mayee Mommy."

He's become really attached to his blanket, which he calls bank. I'm not allowed to touch it or move it. He really likes to see little babies, which are "yittle bobbies." There was a People magazine on the table with the crazy lady who had the eight babies on the cover (with the babies). He was pointing (with his middle finger) and saying, "Yook, yook! Yittle bobbies!" and he kissed the magazine. It was pretty cute and funny. He also likes to point them out at the store. Here are some of the latest pictures of Mr. Deacon.

A friendly peacock.

Deacon "tickey" watching.

He also really likes playing in the back of Jon's patrol car. It's just hard to get him out! Don't worry, he's only allowed to play back there when it's clean.

I'm not sure why this is so fun.

Happens every time.

Pool day!

Yum!

Sharing with Daddy!

So cute.

These are just some really cute random pictures.

Deacon and his bank. He likes it on his head for some reason.

Bank, grapes, and cartoons.

Little waver.

We watched the helicopters search nearby for a missing girl. He waved at them for almost three hours.

The Bug Collector.

Mr. Deacon likes to find bugs. He likes to point at them, yell at them, stomp on them, then bring them to me. Not so much fun for me.

The stuff he's starting to say is really funny. For some reason, no means yes now. Bananas are now "appies" and he says "why" with his little hands up. He says "where" like a New Yorker for some reason, which always makes me laugh. I'm Mommy, Momma, or Mamoo. Jon is Daddy or Jon. Heh.

I can't believe he will be two in almost two months. That's just crazy. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Here are some pictures from last week.

He loves trucks, tractors, and airplanes.

He's still a little too short, but he wanted to try.

He wanted to wear the helmet.

Bug hunting. This is the bring it to Mommy part.

So cute and smiley.
